There isn't much of an increase in speed in Jedi Academy, though, where it seems that we're a bit more dependent on overall system performance to get a higher score. What could be a significant change for the product line that already has almost everything?
ATI ALL-IN-WONDER PRO graphics card - Radeon PRO - MB Overview - CNET
With Unreal Tournamentthough, we see that in situations where the card is being ziw back by memory bandwidth and not the core speed of the VPU this minor increase in speed can make a big difference in performance - the 25MHz in memory speed achieving nearly the same boost in performance for the AiW as pfo MHz core speed increase brought about in the XT.
VGA and DVI are outputs, so naturally, combining this with the traditional output connectors into a single cable makes perfect sense. I don't think I need to explain how useful a feature like this can be, but I should say that it is just one more nice thing to have available in the MMC suite.
When you select this option, a window appears and the tuner flips through your available channels, taking a still image of each channel and presenting it in this preview window. The All-in-Wonder Pro uses a new video out interface that is secured via screws, which we preferred over por clip method that we saw on the first aow of Personal Cinema 2 cards. So let's move on to the new features. Aside from some minor software changes, I'm really referring to two huge additions: I suppose this is balanced out by the fact that no internal power connection is needed, but with the input breakout box and output cables there's a lot of stuff running around the back of your system.
Depending on how many channels you have available the preview images will vary in size and number presented on the screen, and from here you can obviously jump to whatever channel is on the display. Yes, that's right, the All-in-Wonder Pro supports two monitors. Just a few months back I wrote an article on ATi's All-in-Wonder Pro you might want to give that article a quick read-through, since many of the capabilities of the cards are similara card that took all of the usual features of the All-in-Wonder series and wrapped them around a full-speed Radeon Pro VPU and MB of high-speed DDR memory, in basically the same manner that had been done with the All-in-Wonder Radeon Pro.
Although it's really just a continuation of the evolution of the All-in-Wonder series, the new features of the All-in-Wonder Pro are pretty significant. In place of the copy of Morrowind that was included with the AiW Pro, however, you'll find a coupon good for one free copy of Half-Life 2 that can be redeemed once the game is actually released. The second, and one that many might consider quite useful, is the advent of dual-monitor support.
Those tests show that there is a definite performance advantage over the Pro, and it is almost even with the XT. I know the 3. This isn't a huge jump, but it does address something I mentioned in the XT review, and that is: Man was I ever wrong. This might not seem like a big deal to some, but it's one more feature that's a pretty significant addition.
The outputs are all provided via this adapter cable that splits into two VGA outputs, composite and s-video outputs, and audio output cables used to get audio passed through the All-in-Wonder to your sound card.

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 PRO graphics card - Radeon 9600 PRO - 128 MB
There is actually a small difference in clock speeds on this card, but fear not: Recently, the clock speeds for AIW cards have been able to keep up with the clock speeds of graphics-only cards. You get a copy of Pinnacle Studio 8, the usual install disc, and a game. Considering what's in the box and what the card can 96000, that's not just a great price, it's plain amazing. The result is performance that will run between the Radeon Pro and the Radeon XTthough definitely leaning toward the former than the latter.
No, your eyes do not deceive you: The 50MHz memory clock increase seems to be the result of time that ATI has taken to go over and tweak out the remaining juice, something that wasn't originally planned.
No other driver settings were changed and no video cards were harmed during the writing of this review. In addition to all of the goodies introduced with the All-in-Wonder Pro, the updated version of Multimedia Center now version 8.
There are just too many features onboard to pass this up. Its functionality is much like the TV tuner app that many are already familiar with - you can program station settings, schedule recordings all saved in a high-quality MP3 format and use oro as well, so as to jump back a few minutes in case you missed something.
The tuner still maintains its TV functionality, but now adds FM tuner support for stations between the ranges of The tests here are the same ones used in the GeForce FX Ultra reference board review this article.
